2. Root Houseplants, Liverpool & West Kirby

3. Hi Cacti, Brighton
Hi Cacti is a sanctuary for cacti-loving customers who can browse the shelves in a space that truly embodies the founder’s love for everything botanical. Alongside its diverse array of plants, it also stocks home decor, botanical gifts and pottery made by the owner, Sabina. Trust us when we say this is a shop you’ll keep coming back to.
4. Forest, London
If you like your houseplants with a side of homeware, candles and spa products, this is the shop for you. With two locations in East Dulwich and Deptford, Forest is one of the capital’s best treasure troves.
5. Mar Mar, Margate
Nestled in the middle of Northdown Road in Margate is the brilliant Mar Mar. Established in 2017, it stocks an unparalleled range of plants, stationery and homeware, as well as having a workspace and cafe serving coffee and sweet treats. Head here if you’re after something unique.
6. Flourish, Manchester
With four vibrant locations to choose from across Manchester, Flourish has become somewhat of a city institution. Packed full with houseplants, floral bouquets and garden blooms, it’s a one-stop shop for all things green and gorgeous.
7. Shrubs & Dubs, London
Plants and records don’t need to be mutually exclusive, and Shrubs & Dubs is on a mission to prove it. Think beautiful botanicals, handpainted pots, and a soundtrack of the best tunes to help you unwind. If you need any further persuasion, the store sits just off Columbia Road, so you can pick up some fresh flowers on your trip.
8. The Watered Garden, Nottingham
The Watered Garden started with a couple who wanted to build their own terrarium centrepieces for their wedding day. Fast forward only a few months and they turned a seed of an idea into a physical one, opening Nottingham’s first plant shop. Get ready to leave with your hands full because with the plants they have on offer, it’s a case of more is more.

With three sites to wander around, this London-based plant shop has only gone from strength to strength. Though it was the Instagrammable decor that first drew our eye to Conservatory Archives, it’s their huge range of gorgeous plants that had us falling in love.

Alongside selling a wide range of gorgeous plants, No Guts No Glory is a sustainable lifestyle store stocking built-to-last products - and supporting independent artists and makers while they’re at it.
12. Mint Plants, Gloucester
Based in Gloucester, Mint Plants is a dedicated plant shop offering weird and wonderful plants, pots and accessories to suit any budget. They also offer online ‘Mystery Bags’ ranging from £10 to £75. Just choose your price, and they’ll send you a mixture of their current favourites!
13. The Plant Den, Norwich
Built on the philosophy that plants improve our lives and living spaces, Norwich-based The Plant Den has us falling hard for its products. A friendly, welcoming space, it’s frequented by local plant-lovers who keep the plant shop thriving.
14. Pilea Plant Shop, Frome
Created by plant-loving Lula, Pilea has become a Somerset smash with its beautiful houseplants on offer. Layer this in with plant-themed creative workshops and personal houseplant consultations to your home, and you’ve hit the plant shopping sweet spot.
15. Cuemars, London
Cuemars has gained some die hard local fans, and it’s no surprise as their combination of colourful plants and prints make for a fresh take on plant shopping. Tucked away in their original site in the Truman Brewery, they’re easily recognisable for their colourful courtyard filled with houseplants, just off Brick Lane.
